In the wake of completion of the University of Michigan Biomed Research Facility, Ann Arbor Ceiling has been awarded another major University of Michigan Project. The Ross School of Business is a new 270,000sf facility being built to house the University’s Business Program. The design of the exterior is similar to the Biomed project, in that, it utilizies a unique terracotta “Rain Screen” system along with various types of curtain wall systems. We are once again pleased to be working with our sister company Huron Valley Glass on the construction of the exterior building envelope. Just like Biomed we were able to secure the interior wall and ceiling contract as well. Construction started in early April 2007 and the project is scheduled to be completed in the fall of 2008.
