This new high school is one of many new schools being constructed in the Ann Arbor and surrounding areas. We were fortunate to have been the contractor on the new Saline High School as well. We were not the apparent low bidder on bid day for this project, however a comprehensive list of value engineering options presented to the owner at the time our bid was submitted, made us the successful low bidder. Prior to the bid we knew the owner had budget issues so we were able to provide significant savings up front to help the cause. It also helped that our business is located within the school district. That type of local participation was also a sensitive issue for the owner. We have completed the building enclosure and are progressing on the interior wall construction.
