2007 INTEX AWARDS WINNER: St Josephs Hospital - Surgery Expansion

This project is one of many planned upgrades to the St Joe’s medical campus. The project consisted of a 63,166 sf two-story addition to the existing hospital, for the purposes of performing various surgical procedures. With approximately 20 new operating rooms, several post and pre op rooms, as well as, additional office space, St Joes will be able to increase their capacity for quality surgical care. Along with the difficulties of a typical hospital job, the elaborate wall structure, and unique radius soffits & ceilings made this project an interesting challenge.
