This project consisted of an extensive renovation of Detroit’s historic Symphony Orchestra Hall. In addition to the challenges of working in such an old building, we completed many repairs to the existing plaster throughout. This job also marked the introduction of a new plaster system know as Venetian Plaster. In order to maintain sound performance, which is obviously critical in this building, we constructed several acoustical clouds made from this same type of plaster system.
