Greektown Casino was one of the three major temporary casino projects in Detroit in 1999. Although this was only intended to be a temporary facility, no expense was spared in the design and construction of this venue. The project was an extensive renovation to the former Trapper’s Alley shopping center located in Detroit’s Greektown District. The casino has many levels that intertwine with one another, thus maximizing gaming space in a relatively small area. All in all, there is still over 100,000 sf of gaming space, along with restaurants and shops. This job enabled our company to expand our casino experience in preparation for the construction of the permanent facilities.
